Parent Taught Driver's Ed Online Class

This online parent-taught teen self-paced online course comes with 7 hours Behind the Wheel training with an Infinity Driving School instructor and a fully 24-hour online classroom portal.

Not included but a Texas state requirement - 30 hours Behind the Wheel driving with a parent (included should be 10 evening driving hours).  

This option provides the 24-hour classroom component fully online through IMPROVLearning. It  is ideal for families who wish to complete all behind-the-wheel instruction independently with a parent or eligible adult. You will need to review the TDLR Parent-Taught Driver Education Guide and pay the mandatory fee for the PTDE Guide from TDLR to become a Parent Taught Instructor. It is recommended that the online class must be completed within one year of beginning.

This course uses the proven brain-training techniques used to power the SPIDER platform (scan for threats, predict how they could affect you, identify solutions, decide on a course of action, execute a plan, and then reflect). Learners receive focused, highly-targeted information in short, hard-hitting, and engaging bursts, making the given learning objectives stick.
